Agar Scientific is a long established company supplying accessories and consumables in support of all forms of microscopy.

Since the formation of the company by Alan Agar in 1972, our aim has been to provide a fast efficient service offering microscopists the widest range of quality specialist materials and equipment.

It is our policy to offer technical advice and assistance. Our technical staff have a wide practical experience in specimen preparation and microscopy techniques.

We welcome queries on the use of any of our products. We also welcome any suggestions for additions to our product lines.

Our range of products includes items for light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning probe microscopy (SPM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Our own manufacturing facility allows us to make specialist products.

The UK is served from our headquarters at Stansted, whilst the rest of the world is covered by a network of long established agents and distributors. This provides technical and applications support world-wide.
