Stage micrometers for use with transmitted light microscopes are available with different line lengths and sub-divisions. They provide a simple and reliable means of accurately calibrating eyepiece graticules. Wherever the highest accuracy of measurement is required a certified stage micrometer can be supplied. Certified stage micrometers are individually calibrated and are supplied with certificates of accuracy to comply with ISO requirements. For confocal microscopy a ready-to-use kit containing slides with multi-fluorescent latex beads in various sizes can be supplied. A high precision standard is available for calibrating image analysis systems and identifying deviations and distortions in optical imaging equipment.
