A Glow Discharge Cleaning System with specific gas atmosphere which will modify the surface properties of TEM support films and grids in order to optimize the adsorption of the solutions to spread.

- Dual vacuum bell jars to avoid cross contamination
- Bell jars dedicated for glow discharge with amylamine with injection controlled (chemical flask) for nucleic acids (eg DNA)
- Short runs (<30s), with quick and easy loading of films or grids
- Intuitive operation with manual or programmed mode
- Compact system, delivered with dual stage rotary pump - Edwards RV3.
- Real-time display of process parameters (current, vacuum, time)
- Glow discharge methods: hydrophilic or hydrophobic, negative or positive charge
- Anti-implosion glass for an easy cleaning and a high secured process
- Soft venting (air or neutral gas) using quick inlet fitting
- Plasma current : 0 - 30mA
- Accurate vacuum control using pirani gauge
- Applications: Suspensions for deposition such as viruses, liposomes, proteins/peptides, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, bacteria, micro/nano-emulsion
